I started out as a proposal coordinator and was furloughed in 2020. Since then, I have tried a lot of different marketing jobs and wasn't married to those paths.
I know that my passion lies in creating and editing proposals. I am dedicated to the process and the tasks the process demands.

If I believe there is an easier way to do a task, I sometimes spend significantly more time researching the more straightforward solution than it would have taken just to do the task. It sometimes leads me down rabbit holes and puts me in a situation that leads to overtime.
Solution
I'm working on being cognisant of performing a cost vs. benefit analysis. I've been trying to list the pain points of the process and work on them between proposals.

Failure
I have failed a lot in my life. I failed math classes, learning Adobe CC products, and content creation. But I never gave up, I put in the time, I asked others for help, and I learned that I was capable of great things. You remember the turmoil of climbing a mountain more than the jaunt across a hill.
Failure is our greatest teacher.
